Hello, I’m Scott Del Monte, and welcome to my website. A little bit about me; I started in the construction industry in 1978. By the time I dropped my tool belt, I was part of an impressive crew building some of the largest homes in Potomac, Maryland.
I have been a full-time home inspector for 19 years, I have performed thousands of home inspections; new construction, pre-drywall, buyers, sellers, warranty, and home check-up inspections.
I have always had a love for construction. My passion is trim carpentry. The attention to detail required has challenged me to strive for perfection. My professionalism in business is reflected in my desire for excellence. You will find me punctual, detailed, and articulate and my appearance professional.
I spent years as an inspector for the installation of stormwater management, sanitary sewer, freshwater systems, and erosion & sediment control. This has given me the expertise in identifying grading issues around your home. Improper grading is the #1 cause of foundation failures.
My quest to attain the highest level of service for my clients is evident by my monthly attendance at continuing education classes and various seminars offered by the home inspection industry.
My allegiance is to my client and not to a referring party.
